Discounted Tickets for Full-Time Students

When availability allows, San Diego Opera offers an incredible discount on advance tickets for full-time students. These tickets are typically made available ten days prior to each production. High School and College students can enjoy top-quality opera productions at an affordable price!

Advance Student Tickets with Valid Student ID.

Advance Student tickets are made available to full-time students with valid Student ID, when available, for only $34, including the $4 San Diego Theatres facility fee.
Students may purchase up to 2 tickets per ID. Only one member of the party needs to be a student. (Your guest is not required to be a student)
After your purchase you will receive an email confirmation. Tickets will not be emailed until a few days before the performance. Please check your email and junk mail folders.
Student ID will be checked by ushers at the theater, so please always bring it with you.
Advance Student tickets are always subject to availability. Once you have your SDO student account, you’ll be emailed when Student tickets become available for each production.
The deadline for requesting Student tickets is 48 hours before each performance.

To purchase Student tickets, please create a STUDENT account by registering HERE; then please follow up with an email to the box office.
